In order for this campaign to have meaning, we will be issuing statements from time to time which offer our Oneness perspective on situations where some group of us is being singled out for attack. We will be sending these statements to you for your information.
This is just the beginning. We are not building a coalition to fight one cause. We are not building a coalition for an event. We are a coalition of conscience that confronts our own fear and prejudice against one another and holds us to a higher bar. Let’s start fighting – not against each other, but for and with each other. The Campaign to Unite All Movements is sponsored by Beth Green and TheInnerRevolution.Org. See below for the current list.
The Campaign to Unite All Movements
All movements must unite.
We are Muslim, Hispanic, Native peoples, Black, white, women, men, straight, gay, police and soldiers, rich and poor, disabled, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, people of all kinds, and we stand united.
We care about our climate, homelessness, discrimination against women, income inequality and violence. We care about the disenfranchisement of people who cannot vote and the undue influence of money in politics. We care about other species, as well as ourselves. We care about any and all the needless pain that humanity inflicts on humanity. We each have our own fight, but we also see the wrongs inflicted on one another, and we feel them, because we are One.
We are being subjected to the same forces that are oppressing us all, and we know we are stronger when we unite for the highest good of all. We know that people do wrong when they are dominated by fear. We refuse to fear or separate from one another. In fact, by signing on to this document, we are letting the whole world know that we will no longer be separated and turn against each other. Instead through our individual and collective efforts and through our willingness to tell the truth, prejudice, fear and discrimination of any type will be defeated, we will hold ourselves accountable for caring about one another, and civil liberties will bless our land. We are America and we are one. We are the world and we are one.
